ANNOUNCES A NEW

NAME AND A NEW PARTNER: D. LEO HUMAN

Kohn, Shands, Elbert, Gianoulakis & Giljum, LLP has changed its name to Shands, Elbert, Gianoulakis & Giljum, LLP (www.shandselbert.com). Alan Kohn has decided to leave the firm to begin a new phase of his career.

The firm will continue to build on the reputation it has earned as a Tier One “Best Law Firm” in St. Louis, as designated by U.S. News in 2013 and 2014 for its work in litigation, employment law, legal malpractice defense, labor and employment litigation, municipal litigation and tax litigation. The firm remains committed to its promise to combine small-firm responsiveness with large-firm capability and expertise.

In addition, D. Leo Human has been named a partner in the firm. Leo concentrates his practice on business litigation, employment law and school law. He earned his J.D. from Washington University in 2007 and his B.A. from Willamette University in 2002.
